HEL-STAR 6 SWIR helmet light: multi-band beacon for special operations
Visible, IR, and SWIR beacon for discreet tactical identification
The HEL-STAR 6 SWIR helmet light is based on the proven HEL-STAR 6 Gen III architecture, integrating multiple visible, infrared (NIR), and SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) wavelengths. This individual marker is designed to meet the needs of operators engaged in airborne, MFF, or ground operations, by day or night.
Technical features and available spectra
This personal marker offers up to 4 configurable functions (steady, flashing, IFF), programmable across the following spectra:
– Visible light: white, green, red, blue
– NIR infrared: 890 nm
– SWIR infrared: 1064 nm, 1300 nm, or 1550 nm
Powered by a CR123A battery, the HEL-STAR 6 SWIR delivers reliable runtime even in extreme conditions. The unit is engineered to withstand shock, vibration, and saltwater immersion down to 90 meters.
Helmet compatibility and reinforced mounting
The housing is equipped with hook Velcro® for rapid attachment to helmets, plate carriers, or administrative panels. Two integrated attachment points allow the use of retention lanyards for added security during movement.
Note: the device is user-configurable based on mission requirements. Intended for professional forces equipped with compatible SWIR systems.
