Shaw Concepts FLEX Pouch V2 – Elastic-Retention AR Magazine Pouch

Many magazine pouches already exist on the market, but none met the intended requirements until now. Inspired by the Elastic Panel V2 (EPV2) and the Double Elastic Pistol Pouch (DEP), the FLEX Pouch V2 was developed to provide reliable retention with minimal bulk.

Its primary feature is the elastic retention of AR magazines. Two layers of Mil-Spec W5664 elastic provide firm, durable retention and allow the pouch to return flat immediately once the magazine is removed—unlike rigid inserts such as Kydex.

Technical Materials and Full Modularity

• Internal HANK insert: High Abrasion Neoprene Kevlar provides internal friction to prevent unwanted magazine movement. The pouch only releases the magazine under deliberate extraction.
• Shock cord compatibility: Integrated loops allow optional shockcord retention (not included), useful for airborne operations, amphibious environments, or personal preference.
• B52 Squadron Laminate: Constructed from two laser-cut laminated Cordura 500D sheets, reducing weight while maintaining high abrasion and wear resistance.
• Universal mounting: Straps fit both standard MOLLE/PALS and reduced MOLLE found on many modern shooting belts.
