HIVE – Vented Radio Pouch for PRC-152, PRC-163, MPU5 and XTS5000

The HIVE (Honeycomb Interspersed Venting & Exhaust) is a radio pouch designed to be mounted on the exterior of a plate carrier or chest rig. It improves thermal management for radios while providing direct access to controls and connectors without removing the equipment.

Retention is ensured through a combination of hook Velcro, G-Hook screws, and a cinch cord. The radio can be operated and handled without disassembly or disconnection.

• Lower G-Hook flap: Adjusts radio height and facilitates rapid battery changes.
• Adjustable upper G-Hook strap: Secures the radio while maintaining fast access.
• Repositionable CordLoc: Can be placed front or rear to adjust tension based on carrier configuration.
• Optional Velcro One-Wrap strap: Can be added to improve battery retention.
• Stretch body: Maintains a low profile while allowing access to side connectors.
• Hexagonal vents: Provide efficient passive ventilation for heat dissipation.
