ARC Radio Wing – Side-Mounted PRC-148/152 Radio Pouch for Tactical Cummerbunds
The ARC Radio Wing was created from a simple observation: carrying a PRC-148 pressed into the flank for hours is uncomfortable and inefficient. This solution allows the radio to sit beneath the cummerbund without interfering with the user while remaining easily accessible.
The pouch attaches to a rigid Tegris lateral support, forming a “wing” that mounts to the sides of a plate carrier or ballistic vest. It can also be mounted directly inside compatible cummerbunds such as those from Crye Precision or Spiritus Systems.
A notable detail: the Minimal Interference Pull Tab is designed not to interfere with the radio’s upper controls while ensuring fast access.
Smooth Profile, Body Comfort, and Wide Radio Compatibility
- Spacer Mesh interior: Provides improved comfort against the body.
- Tweave stretch sidewall: Holds the radio securely while allowing easy insertion.
- Rigid Tegris side-mount flap: Durable structure that keeps the radio supported in a low position.
- Direct MOLLE attachment: Enables internal mounting inside certain cummerbunds.
- Smooth front profile: Designed not to interfere with First Spear Tube quick-release systems.
